AI Services

Our application leverages OpenAI’s API to power AI‑driven functionalities that improve user experience. We are dedicated to safeguarding your data and ensuring that our AI integrations adhere to strict privacy and security standards.

Data Collection and Usage

We collect and process data only to the extent required to deliver AI functionality. Details are outlined below.

User Inputs

Any text or prompts you enter into our AI features are transmitted to OpenAI’s API for processing. These inputs are used solely to generate the corresponding responses and are not stored by PureData beyond the duration of your session.

AI Responses

The responses generated by OpenAI are provided directly to you. We do not retain these outputs unless required for the continuous provision of services or explicitly communicated otherwise.

Google Data Retention and Deletion

Our AI services may interact with Google Data, including Google User Data (e.g., user profile information) and Google Drive Data (e.g., documents or files accessed via the Google Drive API). We manage this data responsibly and in compliance with industry privacy and security standards.

Purpose‑Driven Use: Google Data is accessed and stored solely to support features such as Google Drive sync and related application functionality that you enable.
Retention for Active Sync and Users: We retain Google User Data and Google Drive Data only while Google Drive sync is enabled and your account remains active. This data is maintained to ensure seamless syncing and ongoing service delivery.
Automatic Deletion Upon Unsync or Termination: If you disable Google Drive sync or your account is deactivated or terminated, all associated Google User Data and Google Drive Data will be permanently deleted from our systems as part of the deactivation process.
Security and Compliance: All Google Data is encrypted during transmission and at rest, and processed in accordance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy. We implement strict access controls and data‑protection practices to safeguard your information at every step.
User‑Initiated Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of your Google Data at any time by contacting us at info@puredata.io or through our support portal at support.puredata.io. Verified requests are honoured within 30 days, unless a shorter period is required by law.

Data Sharing

Any data you provide via our AI features is processed by OpenAI’s API. OpenAI’s handling of this data is governed by their own Privacy Policy. We do not share Google Data with third parties except as necessary to operate the Google Drive sync feature or to comply with legal obligations.

Compliance

Our integrations with OpenAI and Google comply with applicable data‑protection regulations, including but not limited to FERPA (where applicable), COPPA, and GDPR. We ensure that any data processed through third‑party APIs is handled in accordance with relevant legal requirements and industry standards, and with Google’s API Services User Data Policy.
